Solang Valley in Manali - Beautiful serene valley of Manali which is full of adventures and snow capped mountains.

Located at a distance of 13 kms from Manali, Solang Valley lies between Solang village and Beas Kund. It offers a beautiful view of glaciers and snow capped mountains.

Since the valley has fine ski slopes, it is a perfect place for skiing. The guest house of the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Mountaineering and Allied Sports, Manali is based here. This institute is the venue for winter skiing festival and also offers training in skiing to the tourists. When snow melts in the summer, skiing is replaced by parachuting, zorbing, paragliding and horse riding.

Jogini Waterfall is a beautiful fall located around 2 km from Vashisht Temple and trek will take 30 minutes to reach the base of the waterfall. It is nearly 3 KM trek from Vashisht temple. 

Some people visit Vashisht temple first which is 2 KM from Main market area of Manali. After visiting the Vashisht temple complex you can start the trek. On the trek you would see beautiful apple orchids, tall pine trees small water streams, walking through trek is simply walk in nature. The stiff climb will take 20 minutes more to reach at top. If you don't want to climb up then towards your right side through narrow path you can reach the base of the waterfall. On the way few restaurants and guest houses are also available.

Small stretch of up slope will be there near the waterfall. On the way you can see Beas river and snow peaks of Rohtang at your left side. Yogini mata temple is at the base of the waterfall. From here you can climb and reach the top p;oint of the waterfall. . Here there is small pool formed by the falling water. You can spend lovely time near temple and watch the waterfall.
